Using Your Professional Photos in “Just Listed” and “Just Sold” Postcards

Want to get even more bang from the buck you spend on Picture It Sold Photography real estate listing photographs?  Add postcards to your promotion repertoire!

Social media is all the rage in real estate marketing, and for good reason.   But, postcard marketing is still a proven tool for listing agents.  Mailers can be cost-effective to design, print, and distribute, and they are not difficult or complex to execute.

Some real estate pros have a misconception that postcards do not have any immediate return on investment, but this is not the case.  Effective postcards work right away, AND have long-term effects if you use them consistently and strategically.

So, what are the most important tips for designing effective postcards?

Branding – Be sure your picture and contact info are on both sides.  This is crucial!  You are looking to develop and solidify your brand as a Realtor!

Great photos – Don’t send the message to hundreds of people in your farm area that you don’t invest in quality in your marketing.  Be sure you are using high-quality, professional, HDR images.  In fact postcard marketing is one of the best ways to maximize the investment you make in your professional real estate listing photography products.  And, be sure the photos you use aren’t drab – blue skies are a must!  (Read more here about our blue sky replacement process, which we do at no additional cost to you!)

Important Tip: Be sure to use the “Print Quality” version of the photos you select.  This version can be found in your client panel on the Picture It Sold Photography Tourbuzz platform.  Call our editing department if you need assistance locating and/or downloading this version.  

Consistency – One Realtor Magazine article I like recommends you mail nine to twelve times annually in your highest value markets, and four to twelve times annually in your other target areas.  Combine this with “Branding,” above and you’ve got some powerful stuff! The goal is for your name (and face!) to come to mind when it’s time to buy, sell, or rent real estate in your market.
